For the work magic_water_depth_3, I wrote a Python script that searches for shared synonyms of two entered terms. The search for these synonyms as “contextual embeddings” of the terms (input) is a sprawling technique and a potentially endless one. This is because every synonym found leads exponentially to countless new words at a deeper level and so on. magic_water_depth_3 is a subjective selection of common synonyms (verbs) of the initial terms “magic” and “water” at the third depth level. The two initial keywords appeared to be essential in the context of the exhibition at La Chaufferie.
